Sci-fi romance set a hundred years in the future in a dictatorship city with genetically engineered bioluminescent plants. The plot is centred around the main male / male romance and deals with trauma including SA and domestic violence. A hopeful story about finding yourself, working through trauma (with the help of a licensed professional), falling in love when you don't feel capable, learning to build a life for yourself, finding comfort in companionship and friendship, letting other people love you and learning to love yourself when you feel broken.
