The Legacy of Ebonyflame: Darkwood

The warriors who live in the Citadel are called the Bloodthorn Sisterhood. They live there, train there, and protect those fortunate - or unfortunate - enough to live there.

Celaeno was just a girl living an unextraordinary life in a village with no name. One morning, though, she finds herself in the Darkwood on the outskirts of her village, watching as black flames devour her home and her people.

She was burned, but she survived the impossible. She was rescued by a pair of warriors from the Sisterhood. They bring her to the Citadel, train her, raise her. Alongside her three new recruits who are joining the Sisterhood, her friends and her will embark on dangerous journeys.

A darkness is filling the world. Darkness that was what swallowed her family and home, the darkness is what's responsible for her pain. Celaeno knows she has to stop this evil before it can destroy everything in its path.

But will she be able to do the unthinkable to someone she loves when she finds they are one of the Ebonyflame Elementals? Will she be able to make that choice, or will her love - and loyalties - shift in favor of those touched with Ebonyflame?
