A Day in August

Break ups are tough, especially if it's a part of your life that you've gotten used to for years. In the wrong relationship, you forget to exist on your own, you forget to live with freedom, and worse, you lose track of who and what you are outside of it. And because of this, it seems easier to take a step back and stay within the tattered walls of your long-broken 'home' rather than to step into an unfamiliar environment and subject yourself to changes and uncertainties.

And for Paolo Guerrero, it is exactly the fear that has kept him in a relationship that has long ran its course-one that has long turned into a battlefield instead of the asylum to seek refuge from.

August. It was a monumental time in his life where an end poetically turns into a new beginning.

Having gone through a rough couple of years, Paolo seeks nothing more than to rediscover the aspects of his being lost in the past and uncover the ones he has yet to find. But when he comes across a person who-unbeknownst to him-is the personification of all his wants and needs, he inevitably falls victim to the phenomenon called love once again.
