Clayton Lockhart is a close friend of Julius and Amara, and they grew up together; because Clayton's parents were killed, too, he was forced to join King Griffin. This is what erupted the first war. Secretly, Clayton is in love with his best friend's little sister Amara and wants to be with her but doesn't know how to tell her.
