In the beautiful city of Musutafu where heroes with quirks save the lives of civilian, legally there was one teenager with the powers of a spider, was saving lives, defeating villains illegally. In the city of Musutafu, the heroes are required to have a licence to use quirk. Without a licence the quirk wielder are not allowed to use there quirks in any way, but that doesn't stop, Kyoichi Shido from using his powers to make a difference.

Among the ordinary or those who do have the ability to be a hero still exist the exceptional few who influence the world their own way. This lead to the creation of the nano-machines called Nanites. They were made with the intent of saving mankind by eliminating diseases, ending world hunger and possibly extending a human's lifespan. But it would seem that these mini machines have an even greater effect than just that. It would cause a change, the likes no one has seen before.
