Long ago, a princess by the name of Twilight Sparkle, alongside her friends, ruled over Equestria. It was a peaceful era, the magic of friendship proving enough to defend the lands. However, a mysterious upheaval led to their downfall, and their history faded into obscurity. Now in Equestria, books are scarce and knowledge of the past is elusive, the legacy of these legendary figures is all but forgotten.

Without the magic of friendship to hold them together, all the different pony races slowly drifted apart. And as their numbers dwindled, many forgot that the other ponies even existed, mention of them only being in the stories elder ponies liked to tell. Old Equestria has been diminished to ruins, with very few choosing to explore them.

Not all hope was lost. As there always was, a young foal was born with a spark. Being one of the few brave enough to leave their town, the foal uncovered the lost tales of Princess Twilight Sparkle. As they piece together the fragments of a forgotten past, the foal embarks on an adventure to reignite the light of harmony in a world that desperately needs it.
