As I hear him calling me inside, I let myself in. His study, it's huge. It's grandeur not letting me move eyes from its lavishly decorated walls and ceiling. But a voice interrupts me. "I wanted to talk to you, Miss..."
"It's Ava, sir Salvino!" I say, not hurrying. Why has he called for me when he doesn't even know my name?
"Alright, Miss Ava..." My name rolls out of his tongue pretty smoothly. "I have decided that you will no longer train under me." He says, nonchalant. But I was shocked. Why? What did I do wrong? Except for having a secret crush on him.
"Why, sir?"
"Because I don't want you to. There's another intern, and she will be joining after you. You may leave now."

"I want you to be the project manager in my company." He says, shocking the hell out of me. Is this man bipolar? Six months ago, I might have caved in because I was distraught after he kicked me out of that trainee program. But now that I have tasted that flow, freedom, and peace in my life, I want to remain that way.
I smile at him. "No need, sir. Thank you."
