In the peaceful village of Elmswood, life bursts forth under the protection of the Mother Tree, that majestic, mystical guardian of the grove. Liam is a ten-year-old boy full of curiosity and imagination who enjoys an adventurous resplendence through the wonders of the forest and drawing those secrets. His world, though, is turned upside down one day: he becomes aware that he bears a rare, mighty gift-control over the plants and magic within the grove.

With darkening skies and unearthly silence falling over the village, a dark sorcerer by the name of Malachar makes his way, his eyes full of ill intent. It is the ambition to claim the Mother Tree's magical essence that threatens endangered exposure to the very heart of village existence. The perils posed against the ancient magic of the grove, now tied to villagers' unity, challenge Liam to rise to the task.

In this nail-biter of light versus darkness, Liam's newly found powers and the bravery of the villagers are put to the highest test possible. Liam learns even the smallest of us can make all the difference in the world as the forces of darkness turn into the indomitable spirit of the grove.
