I couldn't begin to imagine myself in a worse predicament, yet here I was living my worst nightmare and yet also my fantasy. Drew Moore was standing in front of me with that childish and adorable smile on his face waiting for me to respond to him.
“Well Val are you going to kiss me?”
My mind reeled with ways to get out of this situation but none popped up. Two hands were placed on either side of my head and I could see the crowd forming around us. I then went on to do the most embarrassing thing I could possibly think of. I, Val Montez, gave Drew Moore a butterfly kiss.

16 year old Danae's life is slowly going downhill with trying to get a job and get into college. His mum doesn't make it any easier though. I look up at him, his face nothing but a hazy memory. His head is tilted down towards me and I think about how odd it must be for him too. If we kissed, would we find each other's lips? Would it be as natural as breathing? He's mere inches from me and just the presence of his body is suffocating. I don't even have to see his face to know how well he makes my body react.
