When a Japanese officer orders her father to march in Bataan, she, together with her siblings, sneak out in the middle of the night to save their beloved father before it's too late. She was 8 years old and didn't understand much about what was going on, all she knew is that her dad and her brother both had to leave to fight in the war. The only one that she had left was her mom, which was suffering from depression and couldn't really help her get through the hard times. As Elizabeth, the little girl, began to grow up, her mom died, her bother and her dad never showed up again at her house, which left her completely alone. She lost her house, she lost her family and all that she had left was herself. One day, at 16 years old, when she was walking down the street, she suddenly heard gunshots and all hell broke loose in front of her eyes. She was shocked, she didn't know what to do, since she thought that the war was over. However, one guy that was also part of the military, saw her.
