Rylie's life is drastically changed when she meets Nick Bailey. The bad boy nearly ruins her life, but ultimately turns her into a stronger person. We are not defined by what we've been through, but by who we choose to become due to our experiences. One thing that's for sure, people can surprise you.
(This is a short story I actually wrote for English. There's a lot of sensitive topics discussed in this piece so BE WARNED. Overall, I hope y'all enjoy but understand why you may not be thrilled to read about said topics.)

When disaster strikes. When a horrible fire breaks out. Rini is trapped and caught under piles of rocks and stones on top of her body from pieces of the falling building on top of her and her mother. As she was being crushed to death when all her mother could do was cry and hold her the best she could and trying to lift the heavy stone off of her daughter's body. As she screamed out for help from anybody. Until she was recused by a familiar friendly face that's been in her life since the day she married her Husband. But when they reached the hospital, it was far too late to save Rini's life, she was gone leaving behind a brokenhearted mother and Serenity wanted justice for this. Serenity strikes out for revenge and files for divorce and wants to take everything they love. They had taken her daughter from her. Her death happened because her father abandoned Rini for another woman and child who wasn't even trapped or hurt. So, Serenity wants to make Amber pay for everything. Darien too would get what's coming to him. She was pissed and she had no reasons to hold back her own rampage for revenge. So, Serenity strikes out for revenge. Will she ever be able to love again? Or open her heart? again? Read it and see. Tears might be shed; I know I cried writing this to be honest.

So I guess you need some figuring out to do." ********* Daimen and River were both seniors at the same high school, they took some of the same classes, walked the same halls, live in fair distance from each other, but they couldn't have been more different. When high school was over River and Daimen became ghosts to each other but then years later fate decides to bring them back together. River Sparrow hates confrontation. She's jumpy, but tries to see the bright side of situations. She's quiet, soft spoken, the "teacher's pet," and keeps to herself a lot. She's a volunteer at the local animal shelter and loves one dog in particular the most. Daimen Princeston would fight in a heartbeat. He's strong, intimidating, and pretty much has people running for the hills at the very aspect of him getting angry. His devil-may-care attitude swirls around him and no one wants to get on his bad side. Of course River is afraid of him, and she has a good right to be. But when River starts to learn more of the young man everyone fears she starts to see him in a new way. After some time feelings grow stronger and she hopes she's not fallen for a murderer. And if she has, who is she to deny him the love he so desperately needs?Complete

Ryker is also a Senior in high school and everybody knows him as the 'badboy' which he was named from the many rumors througout the years that were told about him. He doesn't care what others think and plans to leave town after graduation. He has a small group of friends of school but they are ones he can trust. He doesn't care about popularity and thinks it's amusing more than ever to see the girls want him. He tries to mind his own business and isn't interested in getting too attached and involved with anyone. So he just messes around. That is, until he meets the new girl who immediately draws his attention and makes him instantly intrigued. It's hard for him to trust anyone other than his close friends and she doesn't trust anybody, including guys. Can they help each other out? Can he help save her from herself?
