When Jude shows up to the Rodney Psychiatric Facility, he has two questions on his mind... who the hell is Vera, and where is the Mac and Cheese? But before he can truly find out what's going on, he seems to find friends in a group of misfits with too much time on their hands... the Liar, the Quiet Geek, the Fighter, and a Princess who never shuts up.
As a sixteen year old boy, life is already hard enough for Jude without having to worry about his sexuality, mental health, and ever declining weight... and on top of it all, add four mentally ill teenagers to worry about.

Her best friend Bethany Peters watches her and stands by her through her tough times until Amy's dream boy, Brandon Walters, comes in and causes conflict to her mental illness.
