Mari hasn't been back to the beach house in five years. The place that had been the backdrop of her childhood was now just a painful reminder of everything she'd lost. Being back is uncomfortable, not only because it reminds her of the guilt she never let go of, but also because of the boy next door Ethan who she thought she had something with all those years ago only to have her heart broken.
