"everyone has an obsession, carmen. and you just so happen to be mine."

growing up in the streets and alleyways of lima, peru, Carmen Del Rey was taught how to fight from an early age. however, she wasn't taught by a sensei-she was taught by experience. she knew that in order to survive, she needed to win-and Carmen took that to heart.

as the years went on, she became one of the most respected and revered fighters in the world. of course, there came a time when Carmen stopped. she had kids, divorced, and carried on with her life, leaving the days of fighting behind her. that was until someone decided to dig up their past. now stuck in the Valley, which is ripe with Karate, she must navigate dealing with her family, old and new enemies, and worst of all; an obsession.

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
