Only Skeletons Remain follows the intertwined stories of three generations bound by the oppressive grip of DEMA, a city of neon lights and despair.

Miguel, a Bandito rebel and former Lorekeeper, struggles to free his family from the tyrannical rule of the DEMA High Council. After escaping and discovering his father's grave in the Neon Graveyard, he becomes embroiled in a war for survival, ultimately forced to lead the Banditos after the death of their leader. Haunted by his transformation into a bishop, Miguel's journey is one of sacrifice, rebellion, and self-redemption as he battles to dismantle DEMA's control over their world.

Years later, Javier took on the role of Lorekeeper, tasked with preserving the history of those lost to DEMA's cruelty. His path leads him into the secrets of the council and the power of forbidden knowledge, putting him at odds with the rulers of the city. His quiet defiance and cunning stewardship of the Lorekeeper's archives laid the foundation for the Banditos' future uprising.

Years later, Harper, Javier's daughter, embarks on her own journey to break free from DEMA's brainwashing, leading her siblings and allies in a fight for freedom. Corrupted and manipulated by the High Council, she must face the darkness within and around her as she unravels the mysteries of her family's past and takes up the torch to destroy DEMA once and for all.

This story is told following Carlos Carvalho de Azevedo Silva or simply Carlos. A paranormal investigator prodigy from Brazil who began this life at age 12, shortly after going through remarkable and traumatic events and having his soul connected to one of the most powerful creatures of the 'Other Side', a.k.a. Paranormal World, the King Wendigo. For having his soul linked to such a dangerous creature, he would be killed where he was found, but the chief investigator instead of decreeing his death, he spared Carlos' life. Then he reached out to him to be one of them and and became Carlos's mentor to control the King Wendigo so that he would not cause evil, but use it to save people. After 6 years as a Paranormal investigator, his mentor lost contact with him and everyone else after making a trip to Kouh, Japan to investigate a possible Paranormal appearance. Without thinking twice, Carlos traveled to Kuoh with the mission of finding his mentor and ensuring his safety. Unaware that he would be on the border of the three worlds: Natural, Supernatural and Paranormal. I will be a hunter and let his legacy live on through me but I can't do anything at the moment till I turn eighteen because once i turned 18 I can tell Dean to go pound sand that i'm an adult and I can do whatever the hell I want. But unfortunately till then i'm stock at Jodie mills. Going to school and being the normal kid Dean, so desperately wants me to be. But thankfully that life will be short lived. So Dean's gonna have to remove that giant butt plug for his ass and come to terms with me being a hunter. This fan fiction is based on the TV series supernatural. I have tweaked a little bit of the story especially the story with Claire. She shows up at Jodie's a little sooner.
