Only Skeletons Remain follows the intertwined stories of three generations bound by the oppressive grip of DEMA, a city of neon lights and despair.
Miguel, a Bandito rebel and former Lorekeeper, struggles to free his family from the tyrannical rule of the DEMA High Council. After escaping and discovering his father's grave in the Neon Graveyard, he becomes embroiled in a war for survival, ultimately forced to lead the Banditos after the death of their leader. Haunted by his transformation into a bishop, Miguel's journey is one of sacrifice, rebellion, and self-redemption as he battles to dismantle DEMA's control over their world.
Years later, Javier took on the role of Lorekeeper, tasked with preserving the history of those lost to DEMA's cruelty. His path leads him into the secrets of the council and the power of forbidden knowledge, putting him at odds with the rulers of the city. His quiet defiance and cunning stewardship of the Lorekeeper's archives laid the foundation for the Banditos' future uprising.
Years later, Harper, Javier's daughter, embarks on her own journey to break free from DEMA's brainwashing, leading her siblings and allies in a fight for freedom. Corrupted and manipulated by the High Council, she must face the darkness within and around her as she unravels the mysteries of her family's past and takes up the torch to destroy DEMA once and for all.
