But in a land where prejudice runs deep and darkness stirs, the path to heroism is far from simple. Joined by a band of unlikely companions-a hulking Minotaur with more strength than sense, a hapless human wizard, a druid plagued by a phobia of animals, and a Goliath bard who prefers ballads to brawls-he is thrust into a perilous quest. Along the way, they'll face fierce battles, puzzling challenges, and eccentric foes, from flamboyant pirate captains to pompous noble adventurers.
