Homestuck.

What if it wasn't just a webcomic? What if, somewhere out there, all of those characters we have seen and loved are actually real? What if there really WAS a meteor apocalypse about to destroy the world, and we'd have to play Sburb to save ourselves? What if... what if we had to make the new universe?

It's worse than it sounds. Four friends come across an advertisement for the game, and they all download it. And now, the clock is ticking. Their lives are on the line. It will be a matter of time before everything and everyone they loved will be sacrificed to the dreadful, infamous Black Kingdom, only to create another universe for them to live on.

Has curiosity truly killed the cat this time?
