The Halfway Coffee House is a seemingly ordinary coffee house located in the suburbs of Taipei. However, the coffee house is no ordinary coffee house. The staff are no ordinary staff, and the coffee is no ordinary coffee. The Halfway Coffee House serves as the bridge between the living and the afterlife, and the living again, with the staff serving as the gods and grim reapers sending customers off and letting them return. This is the coffee house, where invisible tearful goodbyes exist for one second, and fade away the next.
"The Halfway Coffee House" showcases the stories of the staff and patron during the day-to-day operations of this little coffee house.
