Rylanor, known as Ancient Rylanor and Rylanor the Unyielding, was a Venerable Dreadnought and hero of the Emperor's Children Legion during the Great Crusade. He served as the IIIrd Legion's "Ancient of Rites," and had been mortally wounded battling the Eldar in the late 30th Millennium, solar decades before the outbreak of the Horus Heresy. Following his wounding, Rylanor was interred within the adamantium shell of a Contemptor Pattern Dreadnought. Rylanor was only part of the Primarch Fulgrim's Honour Guard by tradition, though he was increasingly troubled by the direction the IIIth Legion moved in after the assault on the xenos world of Laeran. At the last minute, he traded places for the combat drop onto Istvaan III with Captain Saul Tarvitz of the 10th Company, who was supposed to go instead as one of the Emperor's Children Loyalists marked for betrayal and death. Betrayed unto his own death by the duplicitous actions of the Warmaster Horus, Rylanor rallied the surviving Loyalist Emperor's Children and fought against the Traitors during the Battle of Istvaan III. He would survive the battle, and spent the next ten thousand Terran years planning to gain vengeance upon the man he truly blamed for the great betrayal -- his own Primarch, Fulgrim. Though Rylanor's attempt upon the Daemon Primarch's life ultimately failed and finally ended his own long life, it would leave a grim mark upon Fulgrim's soul forever after. Upon his death he was summoned from the past to save the humanity's future. In chaldea, as servant BERSERKER class. Servant, now he will serve to protect the humanity's future and past.

I do not own WH40k, Arknights, Azur lane, or references to other franchises, or Halo for that matter. I don't own star wars either. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You lost, The Darkness Encroaches upon the other Dimensions, No longer contained and held at bay by the Imperium, with the Imperium scattered and Fractured, in the wake of the Newley crowned Emperor's (Y/n's) Disappearance through the Golden slip space rupture.. While Remnants of the Imperium and its vassals still fight on, to do what they can, they are mostly leaderless, with the only surviving members of the Royal Family being Y/n's younger siblings, Chris(tina) and Pyre, and his twin, Selene. yet all is not lost, A Search Begins, a Hunt ends, Legends will be proven true, while old myths come back to the chessboard, Will Dawn or Dusk Yield? The Ark Of War Begins, and with it, the Pendulum swings... And you are the Catalyst. Yes, I am not good at book covers. No, this is not an official work, like my last story, simply a fanfic, with added elements. Trails of darkness, Is no longer canon in my fanfic's lore. I do not own any of the videos or pictures used in the making of this Fanfic series, and all content goes to original creators. This is the real first book of the series, the prequel will be modified to fit the lore established in THIS book. Also, some of the grammar in the first few chapters is . . . Questionable, to say the least, but please ignore my rushing to get chapters out at first, because it gets better later on.
