GENERATION X SPIDER-MAN (Issue #29)

COLD HEARTED
After being bitten by a genetically engineered spider, young Peter Parker finds that he now has incredibly enhanced strength, speed and agility. Along with the ability to adhere to any surface, a precognitive spider-sense that warns him of danger and a pair of mechanized web shooters, the idealistic teenager fights against evil as the costumed hero Spider-Man.
Set during the decade of the 1990's, this is a Generation X version of the Amazing Spider-Man story. This is a time when young people believed that they had the power to change the world for the better. In order to make a difference, Peter will need to rely on his friends for help and have the courage to believe in good.

LAST ISSUE:
The life of Mary Jane Watson got turned upside down during a Christmas party at her boyfriend's house. Harry Osborn asked the teen girl to be his wife. She was caught off guard and accepted the proposal without really thinking about it. This unexpected turn of events came at a time when her feelings for Peter Parker resurfaced. Recently, Mary Jane began to wonder if she made the right decision when she encouraged Peter to focus his attention on being Spider-Man instead of being with her.
A dangerous new villain has crossed the path of the Amazing Spider-Man. The villainous Beetle joined up with Adrian Toomes and Mac Gargan. He was able to defeat the wall crawler in New York. Even worse, this group of criminals were able to kidnap Harry Osborn, Mary Jane Watson and their friends in Philadelphia. Toomes has held the affluent owner of Oscorp to ransom and expects ten million dollars in cash. However, just when things looked bleak, Spider-Man arrived to foil their evil plans.
