Life is But a Novel

"All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances"

But all men and women are not the main characters, I presume? There must be a main character and their supporting characters. A story told in the point of view of the main character describes the hardships and an eventual happy ending. But what of the supporting characters? What are the ideals on that matter? Well, I, Anastasia Rolana, will tell my tale; my tale of the life of a supporting character.
