However, the pursuit of this thrill runs a high risk, and not many people know this fact better than 18-year-old Kyosuke Himekawa, who lost his father in such a racing accident five years ago. A brush with fate leads Kyosuke to reunite with his father's old car, and though he initially sought to live a normal life far removed from Shuto's racing scene, he resolved to take the plunge. At the wheel of a customized FC built for turnpike domination, he seeks to learn more about his father, whom he never knew very well, and what sucked him into this dangerous pastime.
