The way that he laughed, the way that he made me smile, the way that he held my hand, the way that he kept me close and out of harm's way - I hadn't planned on falling in love. I wasn't going to date anyone. I was just going to go to do my own thing and try my best to make it out of the depression I was in alive. Maybe things would be different if I had stuck to that.
