Wei Wuxian slowly comes to, waking up confused and disoriented, knowing he had died a second time and he had no idea where was. All Wei Wuxian knew first was that he is chained in some type of dungeon.

 Wei Wuxian hadn't even registered that he's in his own body, looking around taking in the cells he's chained in until...until he looks down at his chest and sees his old clothes and some old faint scars his original body had possessed (including the one from the golden core transfer).

He couldn't fathom and process it all and his emotions were in turmoil and everything boiled over.
