On a rainy day, Kanao accompanies her non-biological sister, Kanae, to a nearby convenience store for a quick errand. As they step outside, the reserved and serene Kanao catches a glimpse of a cheerful young man her age. In this moment, Kanao feels a stirring in her heart that she doesn't quite understand yet.
A few days later, Kanao enters her first day at a new high school with her friend Aoi. As she explores this new environment, she doesn't realize that she will be making new friends, face surprising challenges and meet a boy who will change her life in ways she never expected.
