16 year old Ravenna Silver hasn't had an easy life. Ever since she remember, she's always been in foster care. Not once has she been in a good home. The current one she's in she's been in for 2 years.
Her foster father constantly abuses her and sometimes even invites his friends over to play with her. Her foster mother is constantly criticizing her and just watches as her husband abuses her.
Just two months after she comes to live with them her foster father raped her. She became pregnant and had a baby girl.
Now two years later she's still with them, still being abused and has a two year old daughter. One day when she's at school her foster parents are killed leaving her and her daughter alone. Until her biological family comes to claim her.
Not trusting them since they left her and because of her past Ravenna runs away with her daughter not knowing the dangers that lurks in the shadows with her being the mafia princess.
