19 year old Keiven Lock has a passion for becoming a knight for his kingdom. The problem is that he's a prince, not a knight. "He's meant to rule his people, not serve." King Faren said. Over hearing his father's words on how he is a disappointment to him and his kingdom, he chooses to run. He runs far to a place name Mälvolk forest known not by him, but by nearby villages as "Blood moon forests".
25 year old Evelyn Flowers, she is not.. lets say, well liked. She's clumsy, obedient, and self centered. A lot of people don't like how weird she is, but she's also kind and great with children, the local caregiver is what she's called. But what townsfold don't know is that she's a witch and one day a rumor about the "Blood Moon Flower" came around town. Collecting its petals can't be that bad... right?

The Purple Eyed Girl
Thousands of centuries ago humans, vampires, and werewolves lived together in harmony, considering one equal to the other. Ruled by a council of three kings, with one from each fullblood race, peace endured for quite some time. All of it was destroyed when many years later the new vampire and werewolf kings both wanted to rule over the kingdom alone. As time and generations went by, the kingdoms became more isolated and the common humans forgot that supernatural beings even existed. However, the war had never truly been resolved so the hatred that the vampires and werewolves had for each other endured. When a mysterious murder occurs, chaos breaks out within the kingdoms. Jayden was never meant to be a prince, but when he gets adopted by the king and queen, he has to prepare himself for the challenges ahead. Luckily, his personal knight, Kam, is there to help him out. Together, they will have to deal with mages, fight dragons, and face windigos. Follow them as they learn more about each other, and learn to look past their deferences to accomplish their goals and save the kingdom. Warning: this is not for kids or people sensitive to triggers. I tend to write on the dark side, just so you know. There will be no smut, but there will be mentions of sex, abuse, abandonment, a little bit of swearing and this list could be updated as the story goes on. I usually don't write romance, but I want to get better at it, so here we go... About updates, I wish I could say I will be posting at least once a day but I know that won't be true because I'm currently editing my book that I am publishing this summer (2020) and this story is more of just a de-stressor (is that a word) so the grammar and writing, especially the tense (it will most likely flip between present and past tense, just pretend it is all the same) might not be perfect, but I just felt like writing it.
