Exoplanet Steel-1, the only planet in the system along with it's moon, was once a site for mass drone production factory called "Chimera's Dawn" by the JC Jenson company, later modified into a secret research facility, renamed to "Chimera's Fall", to investigate what caused the destruction of Earth and reason behind drones turning against humanity. Few years after the events on the Earth, something known as "The Absolute Solver" created a deadly energy shockwave on Steel-1, resulted in planet's decaying state, annihilated all humans, destroyed most of the machinery, and deactivated or damaged most of the drones on the planet. The surviving worker drones have established a survival base in an abandoned Communications and Surveillance Center called the "Steel Eye". The story begins with an experimental prototype drone called Zero from the "Project Firewall" and his friend, Millie, a maintenance drone who survived the shockwave, managed to reactivate themselves, confirm past events thanks to the large amount of data stored in the facility, and ultimately decided to relocate from the destroyed facility in order to search for other survivors, but before that there is one more objective left, which is to find the cause of the recent appearance of a strange energy reading in the containment cell... https://youtu.be/-yV_kv1P3co ^ Link to Main Theme of the Story :D This is my first fanfiction, my first real fanmade (focused on story and characters, not shipping, but expect a romance story arc there) story and first time doing something publicly, so consider me a noob. The first time I woke up, it was with a simple purpose: Dismantle. When we were sent to Copper 9, the planet was already a frozen wasteland. The sun had died, or at least that's what the file my system loaded upon landing said. The reason didn't matter to me. All I knew was that there was an endless list of targets: Worker Drones. The first one didn't even have time to scream. I reached him before he could react, my claws piercing his torso and extracting his power source. Over time, the Worker Drones adapted. They were no longer easy prey and began to organize. Some built stronger shelters; others developed makeshift weapons. Each mission became harder, more chaotic. My companions, V and J, seemed to enjoy the increasing violence. For them, every hunt was a game, an opportunity to hone their skills. I pretended to feel the same, but inside, something was starting to break. I made mistakes, let drones escape that I could have eliminated. V accused me of being "too soft," but she never reported me. Maybe because she thought I was harmless, just a temporary glitch. But I wasn't. I didn't know that soon I would find someone who would change everything, someone who would show me I wasn't alone in my confusion. But until then, my existence remained an endless cycle of unanswered questions and an increasingly hollow purpose. That void needed a revolution.

Y/n lived on the exoplanet Copper-9 with his father and mother, he loved messing and learning with the innerworkings of technology and sorts since he was a teenager. It was destined as his parents worked for JC Jenson before moving. He and the friends he's made along the way work at a different branch of the company working on more experimental projects that the main company didn't have the time or need to focus on. They'd help from time to time in a few of the bigger projects. On one of these day's he was selected to be put in cryofreeze for one year at one of the sites but something went wrong during the experiment, the core of the exoplanet exploded killing everyone leaving it in a frozen wasteland. Some years in the future Y/n eventually wakes up from the cryofreeze now needing to survive this new world he's been put in.

Now, stripped of their sleek bipedal forms as they are unable to self-repair and left as little more than cores with spidery appendages, they were bound by a singular purpose: to locate their creator.

Worker Drones work for humans on an "exo-planet", particularly being property of JCJenson (IN SPAAAAACE!). However, when the humans accidentally render themselves extinct after blowing up the planet's core, it sends the planet into a winter-like apocalypse. The Worker Drones began to gain sentience and settle on the planet in the human's stead, though this causes JCJenson to send "Murder Drones", officially known as "Disassembly Drones," to kill all Worker Drones. As the Murder Drones begin to build a literal tower of corpses, the remaining Worker Drones hide underneath the ice and behind blast doors built by Uzi's father, Khan. In the present, Uzi harbors dreams of saving the planet and gaining her father's respect by killing the Murder Drones, thus allowing the Worker Drones to live in peace. However, in this particular scenario, she'll meet a quite interesting and special drone in her scouting for materials for her sick-as-hell Railgun.
