Many hundred years after the dragonets of prophecy, the worlds are at war.
This time, with hybrids. Shunned by the masses for intergrading with other tribes, dragons hunted and slaughtered any dragon who had more than one tribes blood.
Labeled as betrayers of their own tribes if they fall in love with another who is not in the same tribe, hunted if they have the scales of multiple dragons.
Dragons had gathered to declare war upon those with "tainted" blood.
Forced into hiding, hybrids live in a world of fear and despair. Hoping and wishing that one day, they will be safe to live in a world without the slaughter of their families and friends. Maybe one day?

This story is an unofficial 4th arc to the original wings of fire series. There are 5 books planned in this unofficial sequel to our beloved wings of fire. I would like to give huge credits to Tui.Sutherland for coming up with the wings of fire and its universe where this book takes place in, and for giving me the first book series that could entertain me for hours on end. FYI this book was originally drafted when I was much younger so spelling and punctuation mistakes are inevitable, I tried to catch them out but I am just unable to see mistakes in my own writing, so apologies for that. These books will be more gory than the original WoF series but still acepptable for readers above 13, they are kind of meant to be for people a bit older than what was intended with the original WoF. I will and am trying my best to keep the writing style and lore close to how Tui. writes it to make it feel more like you are reading a real continuation of her books.
