Who remembers the Diacara? The lights of our present world, Yrian, Helaria and Nayt, even considered together, are no match for her in population, culture or wealth. I, Saalyn, archon of the Free Warriors, have seen a whole world crumble and another rise from its ashes. My colleague and friend Calen, archon of the Library, asked me to write my story so that no one would forget those times. Every story has a beginning, and that's what I'm going to tell you now.

Bittersweet

Stars entwine in the darker night as the sky cries stars of pity for those below. Stirring winds and roaring echoes- it calls forward to those those who follow the light of sun and intimidates those who hesitate to act right. "It's all burning," murmured the light grey she-cat with desperation "it's all burning!" she continued on repeating. "It is burning, Cloudfall." Meowed a white tom beside her, his tail resting on her back. "May StarClan light the paths of those cats, may they be safe in their paws." He whispered with awe and sympathy. Snow Mountain
When a fallen warrior trapped on a mountain saves an injured woman from the snow, little does he imagine she will be the key to both his freedom and his undoing. Alone on his mountain, 'Fyar' the herdsman cares for little other than his goats and his solitude. But when he finds an injured woman in the snow, memories of his time before the mountain and what drove him there start to resurface.
