• Welcome to August 1976 •

Summer is winding down as Cherie, a soon-to-be senior at Robert E. Lee High School, has just moved in from another town to live with her aunt. How will things unfold as Cherie adjusts to a new place full of new people?

This was intended to originally be a Slater story, but after a lot of indecisiveness I've settled on splitting it into two parts. One where Cherie ends up with Slater, a character I've always adored, and another where Cherie ends up with Don, a character I've come to love but have never found any stories written with him as a main character. So, you can decide which you'd like to read :)

"Cool, lets go!" we jumped off his bed and ran towards his stairway, where he sat on his railing. "What are you doing?" I asked the crazy person. "Being cool," He jested just before he began to slide down his railing like a little kid. "It isn't," I widened my eyes. "Just do it, you will love it trust me," "Ugh, I think your crazy is rubbing off on me," I defeatedly stated. "Then you should be thanking me," That stupid smirk was back, and prominate through his handsome features. "And why is that," I asked quizzically. "Because crazy people live longer. Your welcome," I laughed harder than I should have to this before putting my butt on top of the railing and sliding down. Alex Rider is a spoiled arrogant jerk who is known to show up to school late and never try in class. He parents are finally done with having to pay to get him out of trying in anything. They decide to get him a tutor, but what they don't realize is they are setting their son up with the angel he's been wishing for. His tutor is a polite, sweet girl who doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Everyone is her friend, but she doesn't go out much. Just like everyone in the world, she has a chip on her shoulder that she's been trying the shake off since freshman year. She believes she can break this cocky teenager, but will she break more than she's willing to handle?
