Clay and George meet when Clay is about nine years old and George twelve, almost thirteen. Clay's mother was going on a business trip and his father was going out with his friends for a drink (or three thousand XD) and they needed a babysitter for Clay. they called up a teenager and that teenager just so happens to be George. they liked the way George handled their son, who also has ADHD, making it hard for him to settle down, so they got George's personal number, and George became a permanent babysitter for Clay. as they got older, they became closer and closer to each other and George also started more and more, treating the babysitter hours as a chance to hang out with his friend, even helping Clay with things he didn't need to help with. George was also the first person to know and/or learn about Clay's Bisexuallity. George struggles with an eating disorder and seeks help on the wrong sites, meeting a coach who is "eighteen" years old. George trusts him and ends up sending him pictures of himself without anything on, not realising the terrible effects of this. His escape is to game as well, meeting an emotionless person who appears to have a soft spot for him. Will they be able to help each other? George hasn't had an easy life after being diagnosed with autism. Going to a public school as an autistic, highly intelligent boy, he clearly notices the differences between his classmates and himself, giving him a lot of insecurity and shame about his own behaviour. As his escape, he goes to a bakery for hours a day to calm his mind, but things change when a new boy who moved is hired. Unexpectedly, and for the first time, George decides to open himself up to the new boy, Clay, while at the same time, Clay slowly starts falling for his new best friend, George. Mostly fluff with some angst every now and then! ⚠️ I wrote this book from my own experience and my own mindset, as someone with diagnosed autism, highly intelligent and ADHD. I DON'T think people with autism are childish or cute, I'm not projecting a stereotype. This is from my own struggles with autism at a public school without special needs.Concluida

Clay is the masked Dream, afraid of the world. He paints pictures of emotions he longs to feel - love, happiness, as well as emotions he feels too often - fear, sadness, and anxiety. He never showed his face when painting to escape the media. Everything was as fine as it could be, until Clay meets the bright and enthusiastic George, who pulls him into the world to show him emotions he had only painted. George painted Clay's world with emotions he had never felt before.
