Jackson 'JJ' Smith was just nine years old when her life took a devastating turn. Separated from her family due to a tragic 'mistake' by her father. She found herself in the foster care, alone and heartbroken. Her world was further shattered when outbreak globally, forcing her to navigate a new and terrifying reality. Jackson quickly adapted to the harsh conditions, proving herself to be one of the toughest and most fearless kids around.
Just when Jackson thought she had found some semblance of stability, her past came back to haunt her in the most brutal way; in shape and form of leather jacket, menacing attitude and barbered baseball bat. In result, Jackson is pushed to brink, forced to escalate the line between right and wrong, all while longing for simpler times and to be held in her mother's embrace one last time.

Oh, yeah, did I forget to mention her biggest enemy; a woman with horrible taste in men.
