One day a strange bright beam of blue light appears in the center of central park after the arrival of an alien species that throw the lives of the inhabitants of earth into despair. We follow a group who only just make it out of the bunker with their lives, we see first hand what awaits them in the outside world and what they are going to do to survive, but as the group fights back they learn a truth that will haunt them forever.
