Zarifa Kaur is an Indian girl living in London. She's pretty, cute, and always laughing. She comes from a very strict, misogynistic family but finds happiness with her small group of friends. Everything changes when she falls for one of her male friends.

Matthew Wozniak, a Polish boy who has lived in London his whole life, is a funny and extremely handsome gamer. Despite being popular and frequently shipped with every girl he talks to, he has already fallen for Zarifa. Unfortunately, it seems she doesn't feel the same way.

Meanwhile, Matthew knows that two other girls have a crush on him, but he can't move on from Zarifa.
