Kim Taehyung a young aspiring idol, born of a 600 year old Royal Joseon legacy meets Lee Jae-Wook a Chaebol Heir and executive of Signal Entertainment who instantly becomes infatuated with Taehyung at first sight as he's walking in the rain, the sight of him causes him to crash his car into a ditch. He then has to seek help at a nearby guesthouse, that he soon realises is owned by Taehyungs Grandmother. He immediately promises to make Taehyung a star hoping Taehyung will grant him a night with him but he refuses. He instead brings him to Seoul to audition to be an Idol and he tells him he can debut as a member of BTS but he wants something in return.
Their ill fated meeting sets a course of events in motion where at 14 Taehyung's life is signed away in an instant when Taehyungs father agrees to an arranged marriage on his behalf, when he comes of age to Lee Jae-Wook and in exchange, his family will be financially be taken care of and Taehyung will become an idol.
At 14 his life has already been decided as he's forced into an engagement with a wealthy Chaebol. He soon realises Lee Jay-Wook isn't the good guy he pretends to be as his controlling behaviour becomes apparent. Taehyung finds solace in kind and handsome bandmate Jungkook who awakens his love and lust.
