When a tornado rips through Maretime Bay, Sunny Starscout (Jenna Warren) and her dog, Cloudpuff, are whisked away in their house to the magical land of Oz. They follow the Yellow Brick Road toward the Emerald City to meet the Wizard, and en route they meet a lion (Ben Stiller) that needs a brain, a zebra (Chris Rock) missing a heart, and a Cowardly Seal (Martin Short) who wants courage.
