After the death of her husband Tessa Gray spent her life doing many things but she always found herself back on the road hunting the monsters her husband fought so hard to protect the world from. Not wanting to risk losing anyone again Tessa hunts and sleeps alone, pushing everyone away to avoid heartache.
Dean Winchester has been hunting nearly his whole life and couldn't imagine doing anything else. Everyday he fights the monsters so people don't have to lose their loved ones just as he has. Dean can't let himself get close to anyone as they will just end up getting hurt or killed because of him and that's a burden he couldn't bare.
What will happen when these two find themselves pushed together in an act of fate (or Bobby Singer) will hunting the djinn bring these two together or will they both leave lonely as they always have been?
