The mech ran through the carnage of a battlefield, blaster fire sounded all around him as he ran to his ship. Finally reaching it he closed the door's hastily, the fuselage of the ship getting damaged by the occasional blaster fire. 

Quickly sitting down at the spaceship's control panels, setting it to a planet in the far distance  in the hopes of outrunning the war for at least awhile, he left, starting to do small occasional jobs around the milky way. 

Taking a multitude of jobs on a planet basically made of a desert, he got approached by someone familiar.
