The Power of Black - Poems on Humanity , Social Cause - volume 2
The Book cardinally aims to end the negative perception and energies associated with the color black and the under-privileged sections of the society. Many a different times the utmost exhilaration spawns from a persons disability as his/her desire to achieve the impossible is several times heightened than the normal counterpart. The magical essence of Black has been epitomized to the hilt in every poetic stanza that follows-to lead to a trail of unassailable victory. This collection of poems is endlessly dedicated to the power of the color Black. Black which in common parlance is perceived to be negative and a disability to continue the chapters of life. But this very Black which has been described as the most powerful color for survival on earth. The most magical fragrance of every entities soul which continues to infatuate even beyond the dormitories of heaven and hell. I nikhil parekh am truly grateful to every bit of Blackness enshrouding me, which has made me a magician to express the innermost realms of my soul into poetic verse on blank paper. Black is beautiful. Black triumphs till beyond eternity. Black is the most inscrutably tantalizing fabric of existence. God bless Black. Parekh brings to the fore various evils lingering in the society and tries to cure them offering the balm of poetry. The poems contained within are starkly explicit and poignantly debate on various global social causes like female foeticide, blindness, smoking, molestation, adopting the girl child, hiv-aids discrimination.etc. In a battle of adroit analogies the poet emphatically portrays even the tiniest of social evil and urges mankind to rise above the same. Poetically he tries to unite hearts all across the Universe in the spirit of love, oneness and compassion to give birth to a renaissance against evil and unjustness. This victorious concoction of poems would appeal to all those who've so selflessly fought for a social cause and to uproot evil forever from the fabric of society.TerminΓ©
Finding happiness (previously known as Billionaire playboy's secret past)
Two stubborn people, different lives a terrible situation that brings them together and changes their lives forever. Maya is an 18 year old girl trying to live a normal life in a war torn country. She catches the eye of an Army man (Knox) who's on his last tour of duty. When sexual sparks start to fly between them, some unsavoury characters notice and they put Maya's life in danger. Knox is forced to choose in an instant to stand for duty or a girl he's beginning to like, thereby starting his own war. Knox is relieved of his duties and leaves a heartbroken Maya with a present that constantly reminds her of her real first love. She doesn't know where Knox is, except he is an American soldier. Life takes an awful turn that sees Maya and her family in a Refugee Camp in Kenya. Conditions in a refugee camp are terrible and not at all what she expected. The camp doesn't seem to offer any protection except to harbour some criminals. In the meantime, Knox returns to America and he leaves the army. He returns to help run his family's multi-billion dollar businesses. He has no clue what happened to Maya or where she is. Maya has no clue where Knox is or that he has the means to get her out of her current situation. She works hard, she's determined and she survives all that life is throwing her way. She grows as an independent, confident woman with something to prove. Her luck turns around when her family is accepted as refugees to America. Will she look for Knox? How will they meet? "C- Can you move b- back a little?" My words made him smirk and if it's even possible, he came closer. Why do I always have to stuck between him and the desk?! "Why? Am I making you nervous?" "No." I lied. Ofcourse, he was making me nervous. His eyes had the power to hold a person on his place and that's what his eyes were doing to me. "Really?" He asked, putting his hands on my waist and pulling me closer towards him. On instinct, I put my hands on his chest. I didn't like it. I didn't like the way my body was responding to his touches. "T- This is un- unprofessional." I choked out the words, but I wish I couldn't have. He brought his face closer, so close that I could feel his minty breath on my lips. My lips parted accordingly in shock. "Oh, is it?" He said, mockingly. Oh god! What have I gotten myself into? β’β’β’β’ Aaron Steele, the CEO of the multi billionaire Steele's Company was the eligible bachelor of 25. He always had his way among girls and having blue eyes, a chiseled jaw and a hot body, didn't help either. With new woman on her arms every other day, he was obviously not planning on falling on that clichΓ© word also called love, but would his thoughts of not falling in love still remain the same, after meeting her? Sienna Collins was a girl of 22 with extremely shy personality. Ruth Crawford was also a long time retired actress who is considered some sort of a legend in Hollywood but her wife Egnes was a woman from humble beginnings and a very kind-hearted woman.
