Padmé Amidala gives birth to her beautiful children, Luke and Leia and she lives to fight another day. Although the former queen and senator has to fake her death for the sake of her own life and for the sake of the lives of her children, so the rest of the galaxy believes that Anakin Skywalker's child died along with Padmé in case anyone came looking for them. 

But while her son goes off to live with Anakin's family on Tatooine, Amidala has no where else to go, but the Organas allow mother and daughter to live in the palace on Alderaan under the protection of their guards for safety reasons. Padmé loves her little baby girl and misses her son badly, but she knows it's for his own safety.

Padmé takes Leia to her own family on Naboo to visit her parents, sister, and nieces. And later, she goes to Tatooine to visit Luke. But at the end of it all, who comes to Alderaan? None other than the menacing Lord Vader.
