After a tough breakup, self-cautios Ian has to summer vacation on the coast of Namibia with his parents at one of the many resorts, where on one of the many tour guides he meets confident Nile, a boy almost his age who is the son of the owner of the resort. They instantly become friends and meet almost every day. Everything goes well until Ian starts to suspect that Nile has feelings for his younger sister, Bianca, which sets him up in an awkward position, mostly after all the romantic things Nile says to him often.
