BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment. The group debuted in 2013 and consists of seven members: RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. They are known for their diverse musical styles, which include a mix of pop, hip-hop, R&B, and EDM. 

BTS has gained a massive global following, often referred to as the "ARMY," and has achieved significant milestones in both music and social impact. They have released numerous albums, including "Dark & Wild," "Wings," "Love Yourself" series, "Map of the Soul" series, and "BE." Their hit singles include songs like "Dynamite," "Butter," "Permission to Dance," and "Boy With Luv."

The group is also known for addressing social issues such as mental health, self-love, and youth empowerment in their lyrics. They have received various awards and accolades, including Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, and nominations for Grammy Awards.

In addition to their musical achievements, BTS has been recognized for their philanthropic efforts, such as their partnership with UNICEF for the "Love Myself" campaign, which aims to end violence against children and teenagers.
