Charlotte Angela Monroe is the daughter of the Spanish Mafia, she runs a clothing business to escape the Mafia life until her parents tell her that she is marrying Lorenzo Alexander Vinci.

Lorenzo is a cold, and harsh Mafia boss. When he walks into a room everyone goes silent. He kills who and whatever he wants without hesitation.

Charlotte has to marry Lorenzo for her Mafia, and has to deal with this cold man who couldn't care if she lived or not. She tries to form a friendship with him, to make her unfortunate marriage more livable, but ends up falling for the man she swore she'd never love.
