Ever since Branch reunited with his brothers and rescued Floyd from his diamond prison, things have been going relatively smoothly, all things considered. Nothing a little therapy can't fix, after all.
For the past few weeks, Branch and Floyd have been stricken with strange dreams about various areas of the Troll Kingdoms, including the Troll Tree. Little did they realize at the time that the lifeforce and power of a guardian embedded inside the Tree was fading. This guardian, Trollmir, has appointed Branch and Floyd to go on a journey through the kingdoms to look for her colleagues and find the Genre Hearts they protect.
This is a journey between the Music Whisperer and his trollbeast protector, but to these two, it's a journey shared between two brothers.

That time was a disaster, and he didn't want to do anything with them again; however, he was willing to take a second chance to spend time with them again. So, he decides to take his four brothers (John Dory, Clay, Spruce, and Floyd) and his girlfriend Poppy on a camping trip to Bubbly Falls (which Poppy persuaded him). But as a perfectionist, Branch wants this trip to go his way, hoping they will all follow his plan. However, a herd of Puffalos blocks their way. Just perfect. Poppy suggests they should go on a 3-day hiking trip to get there. Reluctantly, Branch decides to go with Poppy's plan, assuming this camping trip will be chaotic while also being aware that his brothers have little to no survival skills, unlike him. Will they survive through Troll Forest and get to Bubbly Falls with resilience?
