Y/N Rogers is living with his aunt Tara, uncle Peter and cousin Brooklyn. Tara treats him like a slave, while Peter couldn't care less about his existance. 

The only bright spots in his life are his friends Ashley, Mike, and Owen. They are practically inseparable. 

The dead started walking when Y/N was 9. While it was a tragedy for others, Y/N was finally free. What's more, he had his friends with him. Friends who were like family to him. A real family.

However, to protect this family, he must adapt to the new world order.
