At the Boston Police Department, everything revolves around murder cases, evidence, and justice. For Detective Jane Rizzoli and forensic pathologist Maura Isles, no day is ever the same. From brutal crimes to complex forensic analyses-the tension is always high. But as they work together to solve a series of mysterious murders, something between them begins to shift. It starts subtly-a touch here, a glance there. Jane, always the tough detective who focuses on the facts, finds herself distracted by her feelings for Maura. Maura, analytical and composed, feels the same confusion but, as a scientist, struggles to explain it.
