Furuse Riu has it all. Stellar grades, striking looks, immense wealth, and a prestigious family. Everything except friends.

Raised under the watchful eye of her strict family, Riu yearns for freedom and real connections. Determined to break free from her sheltered life, she enrolls in a public high school, hoping to make friends with sincere people without ties to her family. However, her efforts backfire spectacularly when her peers place her on a pedestal, viewing her as some sort of "flower on a high peak".

Resigned to a lonely and mundane school life, Riu believes she'll never connect with anyone due to her awkward and prickly demeanour. That is, until a series of unlikely events lead her to Kiyome Kazue - a cheerful, carefree thug from Class C. By day, Kazue is a failing student; by night, he dons a panda mascot suit at a convenience store. Somehow, despite their endless list of differences, an unexpected friendship blossoms between them.

But with such contrasting lives and feelings that begin to sprout where they weren't meant to, can Riu and Kazue overcome the odds to maintain their unique bond?
