In the tumultuous port of Bilgewater, where legends of pirates and treasure echo, Erion, a daring young pirate, leads a free but perilous life. One day, in a cave, he discovers a mysterious and sinister sword: Aphedeos, a legendary weapon imbued with demonic power.

Aphedeos is more than just a sword; the ancient spirit that inhabits it tries to control Erion, triggering an internal battle for his will. Despite this battle, Erion realises that the sword possesses extraordinary powers that can make him invincible or destroy him.

Their journey takes them to Zaun, a dark, polluted city in stark contrast to the strict order of the technologically advanced city of Piltover. Tensions rise between the two cities after Jinx attacks the Piltover council, sparking a war. However, a greater threat emerges: Racelès, a chemical baron, plans to open a portal to the Void, a deadly parallel world and sworn enemy of the Darkins.

Racelès, nicknamed the Baron of Deadly Remedies, has perfected destructive chemical concoctions. He wants to invoke the Void to engulf Zaun and Piltover, taking control in chaos. His ambitions threaten not only the two cities, but the whole of Runeterra.

Erion, with the help of Aphedeos, must stop Racelès. Despite their conflicting interests and the tension between them, they must join forces against this threat. Their adventures across Zaun bring them face to face with formidable enemies and unexpected allies.

The fate of two cities and potentially the entire world rests in the hands of a pirate and a cursed sword, in an epic battle against the forces of the Void.
