 When he was six years old, Ashley Purdy's parents were in a fatal car accident. He was sent to live with a foster family. Unfortunately, the man who took him in, was a drunk and very abusive. Luckily he goes to live with his best friend, Andy Biersack. He soon realizes he is falling in love with Andy. He doesnt know whats right considering in his town, gay people were mistreated. He is tearing between the thought of the world, and his growing love for his best friend.

*WARNING, NOT EDITED* Ashley was in her Senior year of High school. She is 17. She has had a wonderful high school experience and is ready to finish strong for her last year. What she didn't know was that her friend's boyfriend's friend would become very close to her. She would soon go through some things she had never experienced. She and her bestfriend, Mercedes, have been friends since they were little. She didnt really have any friends because of her skin color. Ashley's mom was African American and her father left when she was little. Her mother found someone who would treat her better. Ashley has 2 little siblings. A little brother and a little sister. She wasn't the richest out there but she was happy with what she had. She had 2 jobs so she could get out of the small town of Roseville. When she meets this guys, she didn't know how hard it was going to be. She didn't know she was going to be judged because of her class. She also didn't know her skin color mattered.

He can't go back to how it was before he moved to Los Angeles. Ashley has a girlfriend, Acadia, and she ends up finding out everything after a night in the park. What she finds out leads them to become close friends, but not dating anymore. As he ventures into the world of being who he is, he learns some pretty important lessons on being yourself. Andy is the kid with nothing to say. He is a mute and so is his best friend, CC. They hang out and are like any other best friends, except they have conversations on paper. CC knows everything about Andy and Andy isn't quite sure that's a bad thing. Then when CC spills almost everything, Andy has some doubts about the trust between them. When Andy and Ashley meet for the first time and have their first conversations, things don't go as planned and their lives become a huge roller coaster that seems to never end.
